The annual Parsons Memorial Lodge Summer Series in Tuolumne Meadows offers a wide variety of public programs celebrating the arts and sciences, featuring writers, musicians, naturalists, historians, adventurers and other presenters.

Parsons Memorial Lodge, one of the oldest rustic stone structures in a national park, was built by the Sierra Club in 1915. The series, which has run for more than a quarter-century, honors the lodge’s founding purpose to serve as a vibrant gathering place to share powerful ideas. Through talks and presentations, the weekend series inspires visitors to explore Yosemite’s natural and cultural history, learn about efforts to preserve and protect natural resources, and gain a deeper appreciation for the park and our planet. The 2018 lineup included presentations by poet laureates and scientists, conversations with artists and historians, and the 22nd annual Tuolumne Meadows Poetry Festival.

Your donation supported a popular Yosemite program that provides visitors with opportunities to learn about the park’s past, present and future in a unique setting.
