One of the most highly anticipated events of the summer season, the Parsons Memorial Lodge Summer Series is a forum for the arts and sciences. Diverse presenters include photographers, writers, musicians, storytellers and poets, as well as research scientists, naturalists, historians, philosophers, climbers and park planners. At the edge of Tuolumne Meadows, this rustic stone lodge is a historic gathering place that has been hosting this popular program since 1992.
In 2015, the series incorporated programs honoring the 125th anniversary of Yosemite National Park and the 100th birthday of Parsons Memorial Lodge, led by world-renowned authors and artists. The season’s 17 diverse programs engaged more than 1,300 people in rich explorations of Yosemite's cultural and natural resources, through presentations on alpine adventures, endangered wildlife, art, music and more.
Your support for this popular program allowed visitors to connect with the park and be inspired by Yosemite’s legacy of cultural and natural history.
